All students are entitled to a free and appropriate education so that they may reach their maximum potential and graduate to be active, productive adults. SEPTA’s purpose is to empower and support special education students and their families.
The objectives of the SEPTA include:
• To insure each child experiences the best possible educational program, allowing them to reach their full potential.
• To bring parents and teachers together to productively address children’s needs with the goal of producing independent members of society and life long learners.
• To keep parents informed.
• To familiarize parents with the identification and placement procedures used to service our children.
• To educate and integrate the community to the lives of children with special needs.
babylon compass (Community, Parent, School, Student)
The mission of COMPASS, the Alcohol and Substance Abuse Prevention Program, is to provide a comprehensive community-parent-school-student preventive approach to the development and unification of efforts to address the issues, strategies, and programs. babylon village educational foundation
The purpose of the Babylon Educational Foundation is to foster a partnership among parents, students, alumni, businesses and the entire community. It is a not-for-profit, tax exempt, legally registered foundation with the state, classified as a 501(c)(3). Contact President Christina Repetto at 631-669-0520 for more information.
babylon schools friends of the arts (bsfa)
Dedicated to supporting the artistic community in the school district, BSFA fosters the growth of fine and performing arts. Its members provide the much needed support to students interested in expressing themselves through writing, art, music and theatre. Its presence ensures a holistic educational opportunity for the children of Babylon Village.

babylon varsity booster club
The Varsity Booster Club promotes and fosters community interest and attendance at Babylon Schools' athletic events. It promotes, by example, good sportsmanship in the grandstands during athletic events to encourage students to participate in athletics. The club also plans for and provides publicity and recognition for the athletes.
